The reason behind the long Kumbh Mela period

Do you know that this 2027-28 the Kumbh Mela is going to take a long time to get over. So it brings to mind the fact that the Kumbh Mela Nashik will run for around 4-5 months in 2027-28. The major reason behind this is that it will help to monitor and control the crowds in a better way. The officials who reviewed the place realized that the area was not as huge as in places like Prayagraj or Haridwar. For example, Prayagraj had a space availability of 10,000 acres whereas the Sadhugram area in Nashik is just about 350 acres. Ramkund ghat has a narrow space of just more than 100 acres. If people have more time, they can come at different times so crowd management can be done in a much better way.
