Ramkund

This is a very sacred bathing tank in Nashik which is called Ramkund. You can view devotees having a holy dip in Ram Kund at most times. Ram Kund is located on the Godavari River banks. The name of Ram Kund comes from Lord Ram, who used to bathe here during his exile.

Ram Kund is also very special as it is the place for performing the last rites of one’s father. This practice comes from Lord Ram, who immersed the ashes of his father at Ram Kund.
